    About the role:

    As Landed’s Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the design and execution of programs that convert, retain and deepen engagement with prospective and current Landed customers. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on experience and a wealth of best practice knowledge they are eager to put in place. From day 1 you’ll be tasked with developing and executing a strategy to leverage our email channel to nurture leads across all stages of the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate can move fast but with precision, great communication skills and accountability. In addition to the email channel, this individual will drive related content on the blog and other channels that support the creation of best in class email workflows and campaigns.

    You Should Be Excited To Bring Your Experience And Expertise In Order To:

    • Develop and execute our CRM strategies, primarily email, to increase acquisition, retention, engagement goals
    • Own the operational implementation and reporting in Hubspot and other data channels
    • Create A/B tests (subject lines, creative, content) to identify what works best
    • Think deeply about our audience segments, optimizing strategies to ensure we’re delivering the right message at the right time
    • Work cross functionally to drive the email component of one-off engagement and promotional campaigns
    • Ensure all communications meet quality, branding, voice, and content guidelines
    • Identify and help drive meaningful and engaging content to support our lifecycle marketing goals
    • Stay on top of industry trends, and advise the team on new technologies and strategies that will help us meet our goals

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar position, bonus points if that has been at a high growth start-up or in a dynamic environment with frequent changes in priorities
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience working within a customer engagement platform, preferably HubSpot
    • Experience building out lifecycle communication strategy across a user’s lifecycle
    • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work autonomously with confidence
    • Obsessed with customer experience
    • Strong conversion-oriented copywriting skills - design experience a plus

    This role may not be for candidates who are looking for:

    • An established position with precedent to follow and a set blueprint to carry out; we need self-starters.

    • A large team - marketing at Landed is small but mighty 

    Here are some more specifics:

    • This is a full-time, exempt role based in San Francisco, CA.
    • The salary for this position is $83,000 with equity at a high-profile, Series A start-up.
