    We're looking for a People Operations Specialist contractor focused on Global Mobility to deliver a first class experience for our internal customers, while managing backend operations and processes.  You’ll work on our Global Mobility team, who are responsible for our global relocation and immigration programs. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and passionate about mobility programs, and who can execute against the demands of our scaling company. As a part of the People function, you’ll support and assist the amazing team that drives Pinterest's success. While there is flexibility in your work location, the working hours for this role will be aligned to the Pacific time zone.

    What you’ll do:

    • Interact with employees, managers, recruiters and other internal teams to provide guidance and clarity on processes related to immigration, relocation and global moves by responding to basic questions submitted to the team

    • Initiate and manage immigration cases and shepherd visa assessments in partnership with immigration counsel

    • Initiate cases with our relocation partners and stay in close contact with employees and recruiters during processing to ensure a smooth transition

    • Execute basic data transactions in Workday, our HR system, to keep our data accurate and compliant

    • Provide employee information to our Accounting teams for invoice processing and ensure our billing process is accurate

    • Provide general administrative support to the Global Mobility team as needed

    What we’re looking for:

    • 1 plus year of general HR experience, ideally with experience in US based immigration and relocation or employee movement

    • Familiarity using HRIS tools (Workday preferred)

    • Process driven, outstanding communication skills, acute attention to detail, strong initiative and follow-up, and a customer-service oriented mindset are essential to this role

    • Ability to move quickly, make confident decisions with a sense of urgency and independently manage daily work

    • Strong attention to detail with the keen ability to spot data errors and bring them to resolution

    • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to resolution

    • Process improvement mindset
