We’re looking for an Immigration Manager to join our People team!
What you’ll do:
Manage the US and International immigration program, including answering day-to-day questions, creatively addressing escalations and making process improvements
Collaborate with recruiting, HR, and hiring managers to create a seamless and efficient approach to recruiting, onboarding and integration across offices.
Update key stakeholders with immigration changes and the impact of regulation changes on the business and our team members
Strategically build out a scalable immigration program that adheres to local laws and regulations, finding the balance between a positive candidate/team member experience and doing the right thing for the business
Manage vendor relationships with outside immigration counsel
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Track record of scaling immigration processes and improving team member experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and manage hands-on corporate immigration matters both US and internationally.
Experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while using company policies and practices to analyze situations, spot potential issues and determine appropriate action
Familiarity with I-9 requirements, global mobility and the E Verify process
Familiarity with Workday and Google Suite
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years of experience with high volume employment-based immigration
4 years In house company experience with both US and international immigation matters
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication. Able to quickly prepare concise and clear communications for different audiences covering sophisticated issues
Innovative, creative and constantly looking for ways to tweak and optimize a process
Strong client service skills
Project management experience across multiple disciplines and stakeholders – driving projects from conception to implementation
Experience managing outside counsel
Experience with corporate immigration matters at a growing technology company
