    Anaplan is looking for a self-motivated Global Immigration Specialist for a short-term contract working with our growing team of HR professionals at our Corporate HQ in San Francisco.

    The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail focused, technically savvy and comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced culture.

    Reporting to the Global Mobility Manager.

    This role is 20 hours per week. 

    What you’ll be doing/Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and respond to immigration inquiries in a timely manner via ServiceNow case management system.
    • Routinely update databases and reports.
    • Handle mandatory compliance posting notices for NIV and PERM cases.
    • Prepare Requests for Evidence for immigration cases.
    • I-9 Re-verification SME in partnership with People Operations.
    • Drive communications with employees, candidates, recruiters and managers regarding their immigration process (H-1B cap lottery, visa transfers, PERM process).
    • Partner closely with internal stakeholders including business partners and leaders, payroll, legal, stock admin, and tax to provide strategic leadership and consulting on immigration matters.
    • Track and convey immigration alerts, policy/regulatory changes, and development as necessary.
    • Provide sound immigration guidance to enable stakeholder’s decision making.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    More about you:

    • Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience in global immigration, relocation/mobility
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in global/US immigration at a high-tech company
    • Extensive experience in supporting H-1B cap lottery, transfers, and green card processes.
    • Experience liaising with internal and external legal counsel on immigration matters
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, a professional demeanor and to represent the organization in a positive manner at all times.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Stakeholder management and project management a plus
